On the 18th of September, a new fighting organisation by the name of Kudegra Championship Fighting will be hosting an event at the Meadowbank Sports Arena in Edinburgh. This particular event will showcase matches between English and Scottish fighters, giving it the title "The Auld Enemy".

Behind the scenes pulling the strings at KCF is promoter Barry Ahmed and former UFC fighter Ian "The Machine" Freeman. The two have paired up to put together a series of MMA events, all of which will be featuring very promising fight cards. Here is the complete card for the 18/9/10 Kudegra event (subject to change):

  • Vaughn 'lee' Harvey (England) vs James Doolan (Scotland)
  • Dave Lee (England) vs Graham Turner (Scotland)
  • Andy Farrell (England) vs Alan Love (Scotland)
  • Alex Enlund (England) vs John Cullen (Scotland)
  • Aaron Blackwell (England) vs Paul Reed (Scotland)
  • Simona Soukapova (England) vs Kat Gallagher (Scotland) -Will be the first sanctioned MMA bout between an English and Scottish woman-
  • Paul Cook (England) vs James Mair (Scotland)
  • Chris Holmes Debut (England) vs Andy Hillhouse (Scotland) -Currently the only scheduled Heavyweight bout-
  • Ian Malone (England) vs Aldo Waugh (Scotland)
  • Nathan Thompson (England) vs Rob McCrum (Scotland)
  • Chris Scott (England) vs Frank Bell (Scotland)
  • Matthew Earnshaw (England) vs Steve Ray (Scotland)

This event will be broadcast live via the Internet by an experienced and capable production team using two fixed cameras as well as three ringside cameras to ensure that all of the action is captured.

This will be the first in a series of events that embody the Kudegra Championship Fighting. The winner of each weight class at the conclusion of the tournament will be awarded a four fight contract valued at £30,000.
