We are deeply conflicted about the exciting news concerning the upcoming match between two of the most prominent women in the MMA world, Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey.
It wasn't that long ago that we interviewed Miesha Tate. In doing so, we became emotionally attached to her.
More recently, we were on the scene at the Glendale Fighting Club in California for Todd Wentworth's infamous interview with Ronda Rousey. We soon fell in love with her, also.
On the third of March at the Nationwide Arena in Ohio, Miesha will be defending her Bantamweight title against Ronda. Many are already labeling this as the most anticipated fight in Womens MMA of all time.
Suffice it to say, we will be a nervous wreck come fight time, praying that both of these lovely fighters emerge unscathed. We definitely like Ronda's face and Miesha's arms the way they are.
On a more serious note, this is a great thing for womens MMA. This event will likely draw more attention than any other womens fight prior and give some much needed exposure to their sport.
How much longer will the UFC be able to ignore these professional athletes? One thing is for certain, Scott Coker at Strikeforce isn't complaining.
