The "Unified Women's MMA Rankings" put her at #9 in the world. We beg to differ. In case you haven't yet had the pleasure, let us introduce you to an American female mixed martial artist by the name of Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey:

With an amateur record of 3-0 as well as a professional record of 3-0, ms Rousey is rapidly becoming a formidable force to be reckoned with. Every single victory in Rousey's career thus far has been via arm bar. However, talking to Rousey, you get the impression that she's a sweet, attractive young american girl (and not terribly likely to break your arm).

Here is an interview MMA Savvy did with Rousey prior to her Strikeforce debut vs Sara D'Alelio:

In the previous video, Rousey reveals a bit of her sensitive side. "When it comes to the fight, I get my most nervous two weeks out," she explains. "I call it 'two-week-itis', where like, you know, I will literally cry over anything, and, you know, nothing works as practiced and I'm just having a horrible time. But, by the time I actually get to a fight, I'm tired of being nervous, and it's actually what I'm good at doing."

By now you are surely asking yourself "when can I see this dynamic, beautiful female fighter compete again!?" Ronda Rousey (who doesn't like a lot of time off between fights) will compete once again for Strikeforce on November 18, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada against up and comer Julia "The Jewel" Budd. Budd, a Muay Thai fighter, has a professional record of 2-1. Rousey is heavily favourited to take this fight. We haven't actually done any research to verify whether or not that is true, but we're pretty sure of it.

Since you've been kind enough to read this far into the post, we will bless you with one more Ronda Rousey video. Enjoy.
