The tabloids around the civilized (a term I use loosely) world are having a field day with this story of domestic violence and drug abuse concerning UFC veteran Tito Ortiz and his notorious ex-pornstar wife, Jenna Jameson. The truth is still unclear, but here are the facts:
- An altercation occurred between the two in their Huntington Beach, California home
- Jenna Jameson's father felt that the police needed to intervene, so he phoned the authorities
- Tito was taken away in handcuffs (see the following video)
According to Tito, the altercation never became physical. In a press conference held last night after he had posted bail, Ortiz explained that the argument was born after he discovered that Jameson had relapsed in her Oxycotin addiction, something that has troubled him and their family greatly. However, Jameson of course has a different story. She claims that Ortiz threw her into a bathtub, and is using these allegations of a reborn Oxycotin addiction because he is "very desperate".
Whether or not a sanctioned fight between the two is imminent in an upcoming UFC remains uncertain. If so, you'll hear about it here first.
